One of our local musicians (Terry James) wiped out on his bike. cracked his head open (staples) ..broke 3 ribs, one of which punctured a lung. Mark Anderson must have played more than a dozen benefits with Terry for other people.

Terry can’t work or play. Mark can’t afford to chuck any money at him so Mark is raffling off one of his basses for him. 100% of the profit will go to him. Just because the body of this Davison bass is Chinese, don’t be fooled. it is a remarkable instrument. The pick-ups are Seymour Duncan bass lines for 6 string..$230.00 just for the pick-ups. Quilted body..flawless truss. The neck and fretboard are perfect! Mark will write everyone’s name down on same sized cards and drawing out of a hat after 1 month (draw date is October 12th, 2012). Please share this so i can get as much together as possible.
$10.00 a try. Cash or Check..
Mail with your name and address and phone # to:

Larry Wimmer Singer/Songwriter, Guitarist and Drummer   Leave a comment

Larry Wimmer is a journeyman of the Blues and R&B scene in the greater Midwest. His musical influences go way back to his childhood.  Larry’s Mother and Father came from very musical families.  Larry started out my musical career as a drummer and background vocalist, playing in your typical teen-age garage bands. Eventually he worked into the regional club circuit.  Taking up guitar early, Larry began to write and record his own music and collaborate with others in original projects. He has performed in many cities all over the country and shared the stage with a handful of greats including, Orphan Magick, Messy Dates, Cheap Trick, Survivor, Citizen, Buddy Guy, Lonnie Brooks, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Eddie Money, KoKo Taylor, The Life,Terry James and The Rhythm Dogs.
Larry’s latest CD release which came out this May is “Short and Sweet” which is available at his website larrywimmer.com
“ Larry Wimmers music is a fresh new spark from the old school. Its been a long time since we heard a CD with a hook in just about every song.4 out of 5 stars on this one !” Bluestreet
